I Love Live Music 60 Second Competition
The competition was launched by the Live Music Office in conjunction with AMIN and the internationally accredited St Kilda Film Festival, presented by City of Port Phillip, to present, through the medium of a short film, a national awareness campaign about the importance of contemporary live music to the lives of everyday Australians.
Created to build awareness of the importance of live music to everyday life, the competition calls on filmmakers, musicians and lovers of Australian film and music to submit an entry.
Filmmakers from across Australia were invited to collaborate with local hometown musicians to make a 60 second film in any genre and any style that addresses at least one of the following themes:
- Imagine life without live Australian music
- What I love about live Australian music
- What live Australian music means to me
The competition has been run in 2016 and 2017 – click the relevant link below for more information.
