Which is the first album to be released on CAAMA Music’s new subsidiary label Therrka, for grass-roots community bush bands. The album & label will be launched on March 12. |

 ‘Cigarettes Make Me Mean’ by Leash and The Dusty Boots is a brooding and nostalgic country track and a deserving finalist in the 2014 NT Song of the Year Awards. Since then the band have been recording and writing like mad at WindupStudio (aka a shed in Tennant Creek) for the release of their album Death and Cigarettes due in July. |
