The Live Music Office is looking for a Sector Development Director
The objective of this role is to increase live music performance opportunities and support live music audience and sector development.
This role will:
- Facilitate dialogue between stakeholders and build engagement and collaboration across differing stakeholder agendas and groups.
- Scope, research, collate and disseminate information amongst stakeholders.
- Identify and promote best practice policy.
- In consultation with industry, audiences and venues, develop and deliver resources to support the hosting of live music events by venues, artists and local government.
- Support the policy and reform agenda being delivered by the Director Policy.
- Working in close collaboration with the Deputy Director, Communications and Events, regularly and fully report to APRA AMCOS and Arts representatives in Government on the goals, progress and outcomes of the Live Music Office’s mandate.
