NSW Live and Local Strategic Initiative

The Western Sydney and Regional NSW Live and Local Strategic Initiative provided 10 councils in Western Sydney and 8 councils in Regional NSW the opportunity to develop bespoke local music events in their Local Government Area over the course of 2017/2018, based on the Live and Local micro-festival event model.

The event model provided a platform for local councils in NSW to develop strategic policy through engagement with their local live music sector, build capacity to provide jobs for musicians and provide opportunities for audiences to value the role of live music in their communities.
