The Live Music Office is pleased to announce our successful application in the latest round of Project Funding from the Australia Council for the Arts to deliver Live and Local: A Live Music Development Program for Regional Communities.

Today’s announcement provides the Live Music Office with funding to deliver Live and Local: A Live Music Development Program for Regional Communities, a comprehensive capacity building project aimed at stimulating employment, sector development and policy implementation at the local grassroots level in regional communities across Australia.

The benefits of the Live and Local program have become acute as the music industry looks to a post-COVID19 recovery. This funding will help local artists, venues and local areas revive through curated music events that will benefit local economies and restore community spirit.

We would like to thank the Australia Council for the Arts for their support of the Live Music Office with today’s very welcome announcement of project funding for 2020/2021.
