Over 100 music making activities in 80 locations around Australia is a great start for Make Music Day Australia.

On Thursday, Australians will join the global celebration of music making, where in 800 places in over 125 countries, people will be making music on June 21.

The Sydney Symphony Orchestra leads Australia’s first international Make Music Day event with global livestream of Verdi’s Requiem concert

Live from the iconic Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra will mark Australia’s first flagship event in the international Make Music Day celebrations with a global broadcast of its performance of Verdi’s Requiem on 21 June.

The livestream will be available free of charge for 24 hours from 6.30pm on Thursday, 21 June AEST.
